SOMETIMES WE NEED TO GET
AWAY FROM THE SCREEN
NO PAINT, NO ALGORITHMS,
JUST IDEAS, DIRTY WALLS
AND A BIT OF FRESH AIR
Reverse Graffiti has been apart of Dutch Ink’s story for more than 16 years. What started with scrub brushes, dirty walls and a few ideas around Durban has grown into a tradition we still keep alive today.

THIS CITY
IS OUR CANVAS.
Reverse Graffiti is simple. We selectively clean away dirt on a surface using stencils water and the right tools. The contrast between clean and dirty creates the artwork.
Eventually, nature, traffic and time make it disappear again. We kind of like that.
CREATIVITY NEEDS SOME FRESH AIR
Not everything creative needs a brief, deadline or deliverable. Getting out of the studio gives us the chance to experiment, make mistakes, try new ideas and simply create for the sake of it.
A team that still enjoys creating will always produce better work when it’s time to get back behind the scenes.
GOT A WALL
IN MIND?
We’re not always planning our next clean-up but if you’ve got an interesting idea, a black (or dirty) wall, or a community project in mind. Come talk to us.
